Video Music Monday: Try by P!nk

Amongst all the musicians in the world. P!nk never seizes to amaze me, she’s so amazing beyond words. I have actually gone to one of her concerts, and trust me, that’s something I will treasure for the rest of my life. I was young when I went, but ugh, it was beyond words. This video like many of her other videos is one of my favorites. This one especially for the hardcore message that it carries, to try to stand again, even when one feels like everything does not matter.

Also, this song can relate itself within a relationship or even in lives lessons and ups and downs. I can see that the visual aspect of the color powder representing the different colors of emotions, either love, hatred, and sorrow and so on. They are the colors of what a relationship can leave behind, and ugh, I don’t need to say more. This video is just plain magic and beautiful. Every time I feel down, I just play this song, and I can breathe a little, because as my favorite lyrics of this song says, “…just because it burns it doesn’t mean you’re gonna die.”

Video Music Monday: Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men

I love this video and song, but to be honest, I kinda find it a little creepy as well. The little cartoon characters kinda freak me out, but at the same time intrigue me a little. The video was well put together, and I like how the art and graphic bring  the song lyrics to life and put together very well. Also, I been using this song a lot to write lately, and it sets me in a chill mood as well every time I hear it. So do you guys like this video? Let me know in the comments.

Born Wicked

by Jessica Spotswood

Blessed with a gift…cursed with a secret.

Everybody knows Cate Cahill and her sisters are eccentric. Too pretty, too reclusive, and far too educated for their own good. But the truth is even worse: they’re witches. And if their secret is discovered by the priests of the Brotherhood, it would mean an asylum, a prison ship – or an early grave.

Before her mother died, Cate promised to protect her sisters. But with only six months left to choose between marriage and the Sisterhood, she might not be able to keep her word . . . especially after she finds her mother’s diary, uncovering a secret that could spell her family’s destruction. Desperate to find alternatives to their fate, Cate starts scouring banned books and questioning rebellious new friends, all while juggling tea parties, shocking marriage proposals, and a forbidden romance with the completely unsuitable Finn Belastra.

If what her mother wrote is true, the Cahill girls aren’t safe. Not from the Brotherhood, the Sisterhood – not even from each other.

Video Music Monday: It’s Time by Imagine Dragons

It's Time by Imagine dragons

It’s Monday again, so you know what time it is. Is Video Music Monday, and today’s music video is by the amazing Imagine Dragons band. This was actually my first time seeing the video, since I kept looking for a good song, and well I came upon the video on Youtube. I’m still not sure how to describe the video with the song. But there is some symbolism that I could bring when the light seed was planted in the ground. I believe it was to give the imagery that if you plant a seed of goodness in the world, good stuff will happen. I’m not sure. Maybe I’m wrong. You guys tell me, so here’s the video enjoy.

Here’s my favorite lyric quote of the song. So beautiful right? Now tell me if you like this video or not, do you feel the same way about the meaning behind it. Tell me in the comments I would love to know.
